At 11.17 AM on January 30, a senior investigator of the Investigation Department of the Pavlodar City Police Department sent a summons to Olga Voronko, Ratel.kz’s correspondent in the Pavlodar Region, summoning her as a witness to participate in investigative actions at 12 PM. Voronko refused to come to the police department because she was on a business trip. However, says the journalist, even if she was in Pavlodar, 40 minutes is not enough time to get to the police. Voronko assumes that the summons to the police may be related to the article «How the evidence in the gas case was not delivered to the prosecutor’s office. Part 5» (Ratel.kz, 25.10.2022).
