Journalist Siarhei Chyhryn did not leave the temporary detention centre after his administrative arrest. He was again detained on charges of violation of Part 2 of Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus (distribution of information products included in the national list of extremist materials) and left in the detention centre for three days until the trial. On December 26, the Slonim District Court found the journalist guilty of reposting «extremist materials» on the basis of the police report and arrested him for 15 days.
