On June 30, 2023, MP of the Georgian Dream ruling party Levan Mgaloblishvili verbally abused journalist Nanuka Kajaia. Later, the deputy denied that he cursed the journalist. It should be noted that this is not the first time when representatives of the ruling party attack female journalists. The Georgian Charter of Journalistic Ethics called on the Ethics Council of the Parliament to study this incident.
