In Krasnodar, the editor-in-chief of KubanNovosti Sergey Burtsev was not allowed into the hall of the Pervomaisky District Court, where the case of lawyer Mikhail Benyash about «discrediting» the army was being considered. Benyash was fined RUB 30,000 for using the word «war» in his Telegram channel. Although Burtsev had been accredited for the hearing in advance, the judge’s assistant said that the court had not received any accreditation letters.
