In the morning of February 22, an unknown man wearing a medical mask attacked journalist Daniyar Moldabekov in the entrance of the buliding where he lives. The man hit Daniyar in the face, said: «Don’t f*** around» and left. The unknown man did not try to rob the journalist. The journalist filed complaint with the police about the attack. A forensic medical examination has been scheduled in the case. Daniyar’s colleagues believe that the attack is related to his professional activities — the journalist writes for many media outlets, covers sensitive topics, and conducts full-fledged investigations.
