The head of Bellingcat Christo Grozev decided not to return from North America to Vienna, where he lived for 20 years. According to Grozev, representatives of Austrian authorities warned him that the journalist «is being actively searched for by assassins hired by Russia with the help of local Russian agents». Grozev also said that a certain former Austrian intelligence officer had been given access to his personal data at the behest of Russian intelligence.
