On February 1, Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine CJSC filed a lawsuit against the founder of the news website Blognews.am, Datablog LLC, with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, demanding refutation of the information considered as libel and payment of compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article published on December 28, 2023, on the mentioned website, in which it is mentioned that the combine plunders the natural subsoil, its employees get huge profits at the expense of the health of the local population. The lawsuit is in the process of consideration.
