The judge in the Turkestan region filed a complaint with the police against the editor-in-chief of the online media outlet Road Control Denis Shevchenko. The judge accused him of libel against the judge. The reason was Shevchenko’s post in the social network criticising the court. In connection with the pre-trial investigation on this claim, Shevchenko was summoned to the police to give explanations. Also on this case, the correspondent of Road Control Alexander Pavlov was summoned to Turkestan. Later, the case was closed for lack of criminal offence in Shevchenko’s actions.
