The film crew of the TV channel Khabar 24 in Shymkent — correspondent Nursultan Abbaz and cameraman Azamat Sametov — filmed a material about the fact that the city residents do not follow the home quarantine regime. The journalists decided to shoot footage for the material, including a QR code of the programme ASHIQ (a system showing the COVID status of a person), near the shopping centre. The film crew was standing on the pavement when a security guard of the centre approached them. He demanded that they stop filming and started pushing the cameraman and covering the lens with his hands. The guard said that the pavement was his private property. Then, the film crew asked to see the relevant documents. Swearing, the guard went into the building of the shopping centre. A few minutes later, another employee of the shopping centre came out and apologised.
