Additional information:

The Ukrainian journalist was summoned to the prosecutor’s office. On December 8, RT reported that Tsimbalyuk had been summoned to the prosecutor’s office in Moscow to give explanations, being suspected of inciting hatred or hostility towards Russians and «representatives of the authorities in Russia». The reason was the videos published by Tsimbalyuk on YouTube. Subsequently, the prosecutor’s office withdrew the summons. In November, Dmitry Dmitriyev, a member of the St. Petersburg City Council, asked the supervisory agency to check Tsimbalyuk’s statements. The journalist, who had been working in Russia since 2008, left the country for security reasons.
