The KGB of Belarus declared Mahilyou-based information media resources «extremist formation»: YouTube channel 6TV Bielarus, website Mahilyou Media (Naviny Mahilyouskoho Rehiyonu), as well as all pages of these media outlets in social networks and messengers. Journalists Dzmitry Salauyou, Uladzimir Laptsevich, and Aliaksandr Burakou (senior) are listed in the KGB report as involved in these media. According to the law, any interaction with resources declared extremist formations entails the possibility of criminal prosecution and imprisonment for up to 10 years for participation in an extremist formation or assistance to an extremist formation (Article 361-1 and Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).
