Dilbar Alimova reported an attempt to hack her Facebook account. She reported that the hacking attempts were made from the same IP address and the same device. She posted several confirming screenshots. The hacking attempts were recorded against the backdrop of the discussion of the repressive draft law «On Mass Media», which was discussed at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on constitutional legislation, state structure, judicial and legal issues, and regulations. The bill, which is almost completely copied from the Russian law, provides for mandatory re-registration of media outlets within two months and liquidation of media outlets that fail to pass this re-registration.
