On December 22, the journalists of several media outlets were unable to get to the open session of the Revision Commission of Almaty on the results of the revision of the efficiency of local executive bodies held in the office of the Akim of the Medeu District of Almaty. Having come to the institution, journalists came across a closed door. After prolonged attempts to get through, the door was opened by a female employee who knew nothing about the meeting. Another employee of the Commission said that the meeting was taking place in another building a few blocks away, but he did not know the address either. The announcement published on the Commission’s website did not mention the new venue. When the journalists of BES.Media mentioned the planned event, the Commission did not say that the meeting would be held in another place.
