On December 20, National Agrarian University of Armenia Foundation filed a lawsuit against Hraparak Daily Newspaper LLC with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction demanding to refute the information considered as libel and to pay monetary compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article «Electoral Chaos at Agrarian University» published on November 22 in the newspaper and on the website of the same name, which was dedicated to the upcoming rector’s elections at the university and in which, in particular, it was mentioned that a falsification was committed during the registration of one of the candidates. The lawsuit is being considered.
