In connection with the criminal case against the journalists of Abzas Media, a number of journalists who had cooperated with the media outlet were summoned for the investigation and interrogated. After the arrests of Hasanly, Vagifgyzy, and Kekalov, journalists and activists Nargiz Absalamova, Sahilya Aslanova, Hasanly’s wife Rubaba Guliyeva, Mina Aliyarly, and Elnara Gasimova were interrogated as witnesses at the Baku Police Headquarters, an editorial employee said. Mina Aliyarly said that the questions «were more related to the activities of Sevinj Vagifgyzy, the activities of Abzas Media, and anti-corruption investigations.
