Spam bots attacked TVK’s Instagram account and Telegram channel. After the main TVK public account was blocked on Instagram, the backup account was also attacked, with thousands of fake users subscribing to it. The attacks began on 27 October. The editors linked the bot attacks to an attack on the film crew. Herbalife representative Oksana Osetrova took part in the attack; she later apologised in writing to the journalists.
