The court ruled that blogger Azamat Sarsenbayev would be brought to administrative responsibility for violation of «the rules of protection of plant and animal habitats, rules of creation, storage, accounting and use of zoological collections, as well as illegal relocation, introduction, reintroduction and hybridisation of animal species». As a punishment, Sarsenbayev was given an administrative penalty in the form of a warning. The reason was a video of pink flamingos on Lake Karakol, filmed with the help of a drone.
