The owner of the media outlet Vremya (Vremya Publishing House LLP) and journalist Mikhail Kozachkov are defendants in a civil lawsuit for the protection of honour, dignity, and business reputation of the Vice-Rector of Kazakh National University Fatima Zhakypova. The claim with the court followed in connection with the publication «Anticor can not help — anti-plagiarism will?», published in May 2021. Zhakypova demands refutation of the information, which she considers false, and compensation for moral damage.
