During a Independence Day reception at the US Embassy, Georgian Dream MPs assaulted the founder of the Pirveli TV channel, Vato Tsereteli, and the executive director of the channel, Nana Aburjanidze. The assailants were MPs Levan Mgaloblishvili, Irakli Zarkua, Anri Okhanashvili and Beka Odisharia. Vato Tsereteli asked the US Ambassador to release the CCTV footage.
