A fifth criminal case has been opened against political blogger and emigrant Islam Belokiyev in his home country. The Investigative Committee of Ingushetia suspects him of financing terrorism because of his call to help Sheikh Mansur — Chechen battalion fighting on the side of Ukraine. The criminal prosecution of Belokiyev began in 2021 — he was accused of insulting symbols of military glory for a video about May 9.
