The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has added Andrey Zatirko, one of the leading editors of Agentstvo, to the register of «foreign agents». According to the Ministry, the journalist participated in the creation and distribution of content of «foreign agents», formed a «negative image of the Russian Federation», and disseminated fakes about the policies of the Russian authorities. The very media outlet where Zatirko works was declared a «foreign agent» in April 2023. Previously, he headed the media outlets Sirena and NGS24. In September 2022, Zatirko published an investigation about the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.
