The Semey City Court of the East Kazakhstan Region ruled to expel Serik Ualikhanov, a citizen of the Russian Federation with a residence permit in Kazakhstan, head of the media centre Alpha Marino group. The Semey Police Department applied to the court for expulsion, motivating its demands by the fact that Ualikhanov was brought to administrative responsibility 6 times (once in October 2020 and five times on July 2, 2021). According to the court ruling, Ualikhanov must leave the republic within 10 days from the date of announcement of the decision. According to the law «On the Legal Status of Foreigners», he is prohibited from entering the country for five years from the date of execution of the court decision on expulsion.
