Sergei Satsuk, the editor of Yezhednevnik, an online newspaper that is well known for its investigative reporting on the country’s healthcare system, was arrested on 25 March on a charge of “receiving a bribe,” which carries a possible ten-year jail sentence. On March 27, the Department of Financial Investigations raided the private house of Sergei Satsuk, as well homes of journalist's neighbors. Some documents and equipment were confiscated.
