Vikram Ruzakhunov filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in connection with a video clip in which he confesses to being a participant in the January 2022 events (Vikram Ruzakhunov later told the media that he was forced to deny it on camera). The video clip with the confession of guilt was published on the TV channel Kazakhstan. The representative of the TV channel explained that the video posted on the TV channel was transmitted by the Operational Department of The Ministry of Internal Affairs.
