The newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda closed its representative office in Minsk, shortly after the arrest of the Belarusian journalist Henadz Mazheyka, who worked for it. «Having analysed the events of the last year and especially the last week, Komsomolskaya Pravda has decided to close its representative office in Minsk. All employees will be paid monetary compensation or offered jobs at other enterprises of Komsomolskaya Pravda», — reads the statement of the editorial board. The correspondent in Komsomolskaya Pravda in Minsk Henadz Mazheyka published the article about Belarusian IT specialist Andrey Zeltsar, who was shot by KGB officers on September 28. In the article, the author, in particular, quoted the words of a classmate of the deceased, who spoke favourably of him.
