The Tsentralny District Court of Krasnoyarsk fined Dmitry Polushin RUB 20,000 under Article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred or enmity on the grounds of membership of a social group) for a video with harsh criticism of United Russia city council deputies. The video was released on September 7 on the YouTube channel Kras.News. The prosecutor’s office opened a case based on materials received from the regional Centre for Combating Extremism.
