On October 28, blogger Sherzod Mamadaliyev was severely beaten, after which he was hospitalised for five days with a broken jaw and an eye injury. A criminal case under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (intentional moderate bodily injury) was opened over the beating of the blogger. Three suspects have been procedurally detained. The blogger is known for posting humorous content on Instagram.
