The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has added journalist and civil activist Idris Yusupov to the register of «foreign agents». It is stated that he «participated in the creation of materials of foreign agents» and received «support from foreign sources». In addition, Yusupov, according to the agency, «disseminated false information about the decisions taken by public authorities and their policies». Yusupov is the organiser and participant of weekly pickets in defence of journalist Abdulmumin Hadzhiyev, who was convicted under a «terrorism» article.
