On September 14, the special correspondent of Taftish.uz Zafar Atakhanov was interrogated at the police department of the Ellikqala district of Karakalpakstan on suspicion of some online publication. Police officers took the smartphone from the journalist. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan ignored a verbal inquiry from Taftish.uz regarding the attack on the journalist.
