The Pervomaisky District Court of Minsk arrested Belsat TV representative, Irina Slavnikova, and her husband Alexander Loiko. They were detained for 15 days. The couple were accused of breaching Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offences (“Distribution, production, storage, or transportation of media products containing calls for extremist activities or promoting such activities”). The journalist was detained at night at the Minsk airport as she returned from vacation. She was held in the Okrestina detention centre.
