A court in Shymkent started consideration of an administrative case accusing the editor of Vera.kz of defamation. The initiator of the proceedings is the first deputy head of the Shymkent Police Department E. Abdramanov. He believes that the journalist spread deliberately false information about him in two posts published on her personal Instagram page in July and September this year. In the first one, it is mentioned that his official car may have been stopped on suspicion of using false licence plates, while in the second one Nizovkina mentions this case.
